MIVB
Metro, tram and bus your way across the whole of the Brussels Region. The STIB-MIVB School Season Ticket costs just €12 per year, for any student up to and including the age of 24.
NMBS - Student Season Ticket
If you need to take the train every day, get a Student Season Ticket for 1, 3 or 12 months.
NMBS - Student Multi
Living in a student house through the week and taking the train home on weekends? Buy a Student Multi pass. It gives you five two-way journeys for a small price. Cheaper than a classic Student Season Ticket.
NMBS - Off-peak hours and Train+
You get a 40% discount on almost all tickets if you are under 26 years of age.
Since 2025, NMBS has also been distinguishing between off-peak and peak hours. Want even more discount? Then buy a Train+ and get an extra 40% discount during off-peak hours on top of the 40% student discount.
Peak hours are more expensive, off-peak hours are cheaper. You pay more on Monday to Friday if you board between 6:01 a.m. and 8:59 a.m. and between 4:01 p.m. and 5:59 p.m.
Brupass
This ticket is valid for all MIVB, NMBS, De Lijn and TEC transport inside and outside the Brussels city zone. Expand your ticket to the Brupass XL and travel in a broader region around Brussels.
S trains
