Step 1

Get in touch

Fill in this form and tell us who you are, the duration of your stay and the school you will be attending in Brussels. You will receive an e-mail with info about the booking process and will be added to our contact list for the Call for Application:

• Sent in the second week of July for the Autumn semester.
• Sent in third week of November for the Spring semester.

Step 2

Application

Get prepared

• 🛌 Browse through mykot.be to see our specific rooms, details and availabilities.

• If you want a double room, find a roommate in our Facebook group ‘Finding a roommate in Van Orley’.

Wait for the Call for Applications e-mail in your inbox

Send in your application form

• Send in up to five rooms of your choice.
• Add the start and end date of your stay.
• Include your roommate if you want a double room.

Step 3

Complete our file within one day

Have you confirmed your intention to book a student room with us? We now need your contact info. We use it to draft a tenancy agreement. You also need to:

• Send in (preliminary) proof of enrollment. This may be an email from your guest university or your regular university. It may be a learning agreement, a student card from your guest university, an admission letter, etc.
• Send a copy of your ID or passport.
• Fill out your personal details in the form that was sent to you.

Step 4

Signing and payments

Within five days

We will send you a lease agreement.

• Sign and send back the agreement within five days to confirm your stay.

• Transfer the deposit.

Step 5

Start of lease
September/February

The semester leases begin on:

• 1 September or 15 September (Autumn semester)
• 1 February or 15 February (Spring semester)
